There are two things you should know about me: I love to juice, and I love Organic Girl. When I had the chance to try their new line of cold pressed juices I was beyond excited. I legitimately remember the first time I ever discovered Organic Girl at my local grocery store. It was their baby spinach leaves and I remember being so interested in the packaging and resonating with the brand instantly. Ever since then, my love for the company and specifically their lettuce mixes have grown.
Fast forward to today, and you will always find at least one to two different salad blends of theirs in my fridge. Anyways, they recently launched these amazing cold pressed juices with the idea of having more greens and less fruit. This means that their sugar content is lower which means no crash! Now I definitely do not believe in restricting sugar when it comes to fruit, but I am highly sensitive to fruit when it’s juiced. That means when I usually would have juice I couldn’t drink the whole bottle at once because I would get incredibly shaky, lightheaded, and a overall sick feeling.
I am so happy to say with these juices I can drink the entire thing in one sitting without feeling those consequences.
The Organic Girl juices come in six flavors, with five of them being Vegan. The flavors are all so balanced without having one specific veggie or fruit overpower the rest of the flavors. They’re super refreshing and obviously, all organic!
My favorite flavor is Lemon-Aid, which includes Spinach, Lemon, Lime, Bok Choy & Pear. It also has, Apple, Romaine, Orange, Lemon and Kale juice. – It is 62% Greens (the rest being fruit, citrus) & Vegetables with 1.5 servings of vegetables per bottle!
Kale Rules includes: Kale, Basil, Spinach, Cucumber, Celery, Apple, Romaine, Lime & Kosher Salt. This one surprised me the most, actually. The basil flavor adds an amazing touch that is so unexpected in all the right ways. The light addition of salt (Last ingredient on the list) balances out the flavors perfectly. – It is 85% Greens (The rest being fruit, citrus, tiny bit of salt) & is 2.3 servings of Vegetables per bottle!
Beet Boost Includes: Carrot, Kale, Beet, Parsley, Spinach, Cucumber, Romaine, Bok Choy, Apple, Lemon, Celery & Kosher Salt. I have always been a lover of juices that included beets so this is spot on. – It is 84% Greens (The rest being fruit, citrus & salt) & is 3 servings of Vegetables per bottle!
Hint of Mint is also one of my favorite flavors because I just love anything Mint & Green tea.
The flavors include: Cucumber, Mint, Spinach, Green Tea, Kale, Apple, Romaine, Celery & Lime. – It is 78% Greens (Rest being fruit & citrus) % is 2.7 servings of Vegetables per bottle!
Lastly, we have Spicy Tomato (Could also be a great healthy Bloody Mary mixture to be honest). This includes: Roma Tomato, Romaine, Celery, Lemon, Horseradish, Cayenne Pepper, Tomato Paste, Lime, Kosher Salt & Black Pepper. – It is 95% Greens (Rest being seasoning, citrus & salt) and is 3.3 servings of Vegetables per bottle!
The last flavor which isn’t Vegan is called Green Cider Smoothie and has Greek Yogurt, Almonds, Spinach, Apples, Green Chard, Apple Cider Vinegar, Maple Syrup, Chia Seeds, Hemp Seeds, Vanilla Extract & Cinnamon.
All of the Organic Girl juices are 10z per bottle.
These juices are great if you want a fast way to get in your daily servings of greens if you’re on the go or in a hurry. They are packed with so much delicious flavor and goodness and will be sure to give you that pickup you need. I love to drink at any time of day (and as I write this I am drinking lemon-Aid to be honest). They’re also a great component to add to smoothies.
Currently, Organic Girl juices in store are only found in New York City & California. However, don’t worry, you can actually order the juices from their website! Click here to purchase them online (For $5.99 each!)
In New York City you can find them at Fairway Market, and in Northern California at Whole Foods.
In all, I give Organic Girl cold pressed juices an A+. They are so tasty, packed with amazing nutrients and will not give you the unwanted sugar high.
Remember if you purchase their juices upload them to Instagram and use the hashtag #Moregreenslessfruit to be featured on their social media!
Thank you for reading and have an amazing day,
Jane
Thank you so much to Organic Girl for sponsoring this blog post but as always all opinions are my own. I love to work with brands I resonate with and can put out honest content to recommend to others. Thank you for supporting my blog and I will always be an Organic Girl.
Jane I tried this over the summer while visiting your mom. I found it in the fridge and it appealed to me as I like veggies more than fruits. I am not vegan but really enjoyed the juice. Is it available in Boston? And nice post.
Right now it’s only available at Fairway in store in NYC or in Northern California but on the post I linked Organic Girls website and you can order them from there!
